(34) 26-0238 The City Council may recess to Closed Session, pursuant to Government Code Section 54956.9(d)(1), to confer with its legal counsel relative to the case entitled Hoang Nguyen v. City of Los Angeles, et al., Los Angeles Superior Court Case No. BC696016, 2nd Appellate District Case Nos. B321033 and B319657. (This matter arises from violations of the California Fair Employment and Housing Act against the City and two individually named defendants.) (The Budget and Finance Committee considered the above matter in Open Session on March 3, 2026.)
