8. City Council: Staff recommends that the City Council approve 26-1388 Amendment 1 to the Professional Services Agreement with Meridian Rapid Defense Group, LLC. for weekly deployment of mobile protection barriers at the Morning Farmers Market and the Sunset Market, extending the term of the agreement for an additional three years, commencing on May 21, 2026 and terminating on May 20, 2029, for a total amount not to exceed $351,000; appropriate $11,250 for FY 2025-26 from the General Fund Unassigned account; and authorize the City Manager to execute the amendment upon receipt of all supporting documents.
