7. Approval of the 2026 Annual Report for Military Equipment It is recommended that the City Council: 1. Approve the 2026 Annual Military Equipment Report and the updated inventory of military equipment. 2. Approve the proposed updates to the Military Equipment Use Policy (Exhibit A) to reflect newly acquired equipment, retired equipment, and equipment pending delivery 3. Authorize the Chief of Police to expend up to $10,000 from the remaining FY 2025-26 SWAT operational equipment budget for the purchase of chemical munitions, noise flash diversionary devices, and related delivery systems as identified in the 2026 Annual Military Equipment Report. 4. Authorize the Director of Finance to make the appropriation and necessary budget adjustments.
