20. APPROVE SUBMISSION OF AN APPLICATION FOR THE FISCAL YEAR 2025 ASSISTANCE TO FIREFIGHTERS GRANT (AFG) PROGRAM FOR FIRE DEPARTMENT EQUIPMENT RECOMMENDATION: It is recommended that the City Council: 1. Authorize submission of an application to the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) for the Fiscal Year 2025 Assistance to Firefighters Grant (AFG) Program for the purchase of fire department equipment; and 2. Take such additional, related action that may be desirable.
