21. ACCEPTANCE OF STATE HOMELAND SECURITY PROGRAM (SHSP) GRANT FUNDING AND APPROVAL OF SUBRECIPIENT AGREEMENT NO. 4424 WITH THE COUNTY OF LOS ANGELES RECOMMENDATION: It is recommended that the City Council: 1. Approve the use of grant funding awarded from the U.S.Department of Homeland Security, State Homeland Security Program (SHSP) in the amount of $50,000; and 2. Approve purchase of one (1) vehicle utilizing the 2024 State Homeland Security Program (SHSP) grant funding; and 3. Authorize the City Manager to execute Subrecipient Agreement No. 4424 between the County of Los Angeles and the City of Montebello; and, 4. Take such additional, related action that may be desirable.
