CONSIDERATION OF A RESOLUTION TO ACCEPT AND FILE NOTICE OF COMPLETION FOR THE EMERGENCY SLOPE STABILIZATION REPAIRS AT CASA ROMANTICA, CIP PROJECT NO. 23502, APPROVING SUPPLEMENTAL APPROPRIATIONS IN THE AMOUNT OF $3,370,602 TO ACCOUNT NUMBER 001-481-43470-000-23502 AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO APPROVE A CONTRACT AMENDMENT FOR ADDITIONAL WORK IN THE AMOUNT OF $3,310,602; AND POTENTIAL CITY COUNCIL DIRECTION ON PHASE 2B Potential Action(s) If the City Council concurs with the information in the staff report, the appropriate action would be to: A. Adopt Resolution No. 26-112, which will: 1. Authorize the transfer of $452,000 from the Sewer Unrestricted Fund Balance 054-000-23330 to General Fund to increase the budget for account number 001-481-43470-000-23502. 2. Authorize the transfer of $2,918,602 from the Reserve Unrestricted Fund Balance 014-000-23430 transferred to General Fund to increase the budget for account number 001-481-43470-000-23502. 3. Authorize the City Manager to execute an amendment to the construction contract with Alliance Diversified Enterprises, Inc. for the Emergency Slope Stabilization Repairs at Casa Romantica, CIP Project No. 23502, for the additional work completed by Alliance Diversified Enterprises, Inc. in the amount of $3,310,602. 4. Accept the Emergency Slope Stabilization Repairs at Casa Romantica, CIP Project No. 23502, from Alliance Diversified Enterprises, Inc. 5. Authorize the City Clerk to execute and record the Notice of Completion for the completed Emergency Slope Stabilization Repairs at Casa Romantica. AND B. Provide Direction for Phase 2B so that staff can submit an alternatives analysis report to the California Coastal Commission.
