26. 26-513 Accept Lowest Responsive and Responsible Bid and Award Construction Contract to Beador Construction Company, Inc. in the Amount of $4,999,700 for the Humboldt Drive Bridge Rehabilitation Project (CC1451); Authorize a $729,300 Construction Contingency; and Approve the Appropriation of $3,385,000 Recommended Action: A) Accept the lowest responsive and responsible bid and award a construction contract to Beador Construction Company, Inc. in the amount of $4,999,700; and, B) Authorize the Director of Public Works to approve construction change orders within a $729,300 contingency; and, C) Approve the appropriation of $3,385,000 to account 96185002.82300; and, D) Authorize the Mayor and City Clerk to execute the construction contract in a form approved by the City Attorney.
