24. CONSIDER APPROVAL OF AMENDMENT NO. 1 TO THE CONTRACT SERVICES AGREEMENT WITH MARIPOSA LANDSCAPES INC. FOR CONTINUED LANDSCAPE MEDIAN MAINTENANCE SERVICES THROUGH AUGUST 7, 2026, TO ENSURE SERVICE CONTINUITY PENDING COMPLETION OF THE CITY'S COMPETITIVE PROCUREMENT PROCESS AND AWARD OF A NEW LONG-TERM AGREEMENT (CITY COUNCIL) RECOMMENDED ACTION — 1. APPROVE the proposed Amendment No. 1 to the Contract Services Agreement with Mariposa Landscapes, Inc. for continued landscape median maintenance services through August 7, 2026, increasing the contract amount by $86,349, for a revised total not-to-exceed contract amount of $951,645, thereby providing sufficient funding to complete the initial three-year term of the Agreement; and, — 2. AUTHORIZE the Mayor to execute the proposed Amendment No. 1 to the Agreement with Mariposa Landscapes, Inc., in a form approved by the City Attorney.
