(12) 19-0131-S3 TRANSPORTATION and PUBLIC WORKS COMMITTEES’ REPORT relative to an agreement with BlueLA Carsharing Service for electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure. Recommendation for Council action: AUTHORIZE the General Manager, Department of Transportation (DOT), or designee, to execute a third amendment to Agreement (C- 128717) with BlueLA Carsharing Service for completion of the transfer of EV charging infrastructure from the BlueLA EV Carshare Program and to reimburse the operator for the buildout of the final EV charging station at Vermont Avenue and Exposition Boulevard, for an additional one-year term through April 20, 2026, subject to the approval of the City Attorney as to form. Fiscal Impact Statement: The City Administrative Officer (CAO) reports that there is no impact to the General Fund. The pilot program is funded by grant funding provided by the California Air Resources Board. Front-funding for the grant is provided by the Transportation Grant Fund. Financial Policies Statement: The CAO further reports that action recommended in this report complies with the City Financial Policies in that budgeted funds are available for this purpose.
