(3) 25-1221 ARTS, PARKS, LIBRARIES, AND COMMUNITY ENRICHMENT COMMITTEE REPORT relative to transport vehicle and personnel costs to expand the Department of Animal Services’ (DAS) ability to host and participate in more Pet Fair events, other fairs, and City- sponsored events. Recommendation for Council action: INSTRUCT the DAS to incorporate the purchase of a $240,000 vehicle into its Fiscal Year 2027-28 budget submission as a Municipal Improvement Corporation of Los Angeles (MICLA) financing program request, or identify an eligible funding source. Fiscal Impact Statement: None submitted by the DAS. Neither the City Administrative Officer nor the Chief Legislative Analyst has completed a financial analysis of this report.
