8. ADOPT RESOLUTION NO. 26-58 AUTHORIZING THE CITY OF MONTEBELLO TO APPLY FOR FEDERAL TRANSIT ADMINISTRATION FUNDING UNDER THE GRANTS FOR BUSES AND BUS FACILITIES INFRASTRUCTURE PROGRAM RECOMMENDATION: It is recommended that the City Council: 1. Adopt Resolution No. 26-58 authorizing the City of Montebello to apply for Federal Transit Administration (FTA) funding under the Grants for Buses and Bus Facilities Infrastructure Programs (Bus and Facilities Grant), in the amount of $9,155,140, to procure up to ten (10) Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) buses and upgrade the CNG Fueling Dispenser for Montebello Bus Lines (MBL); and 2. Take such additional, related, action that may be desirable.
