25. ADOPT RESOLUTION NO. 26-47 AUTHORIZING THE RECEIPT OF FEDERAL TRANSIT ADMINISTRATION (FTA) GRANT FUNDS AWARDED TO THE CITY OF MONTEBELLO FOR THE PURCHASE OF HYDROGEN FUEL CELL ELECTRIC BUSES AND COMPRESSED NATURAL GAS BUSES RECOMMENDATION: It is recommended that the City Council: 1. Adopt Resolution No. 26-47 authorizing the receipt of Federal Transit Administration (FTA) grant funds, in the amount of $9,434,183, awarded to the City of Montebello for the purchase three (3) hydrogen Fuel Cell Electric Buses (FCEBs) and nine (9) Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) buses; and 2. Amend the Transportation Department’s Fiscal Year 2026-27 adopted operating budget to appropriate the FTA grant funds ($9,434,183) in Account No. 270-9068-2026-070 to purchase three (3) FCEBs and nine (9) CNG buses; and 3. Take such additional, related, action as may be desirable.
