32. Redaction Services Contract Recommendation: Authorize the Interim Director of Children and Family Services to execute a contract for Redaction Services (Contract) with the lowest qualifying bidder. The maximum annual Contract amount is $1,208,000, financed using 25% Federal funds and 75% local funds. The Contract term is effective upon execution through June 30, 2027, with the County's option to extend for two additional one-year periods effective July 1, 2027 through June 30, 2029, at the County’s sole option. Funding is included in the Department of Children and Family Services’ (DCFS’) Fiscal Year (FY) 2026-27 Adopted Budget and will be included in the Department’s subsequent FY budget requests. Authorize the Interim Director to exercise the County’s options to extend the contract by amendment or written notice; negotiate and execute amendments to increase the maximum annual contract amount by over 10% for additional services to meet the high demand for redaction services; terminate the Contract for convenience or contractor default; negotiate and execute amendments to the Contract for any mergers, acquisitions or changes in ownership; for any revisions required by changes in local, State and Federal regulations; or for necessary changes to meet DCFS’ needs for redaction services; and extend the contract by amendment or written notice for an additional six months beyond June 30, 2029, if such time is necessary to complete a solicitation.
