54. On-Call Air Release Valve Installation and Maintenance Services Contract Recommendation: Acting as the Governing Body of the Los Angeles County Waterworks Districts, award and authorize the Director of Public Works to execute a service contract with W.A. Rasic Construction Company, Inc. for on-call air release valve installation and maintenance services for a term of one year with four one-year renewal options and a month-to-month extension up to six months for a maximum potential contract term of 66 months and a maximum potential contract sum of $3,343,121. Authorize the Director to execute each renewal and/or extension option, to execute amendments to incorporate necessary changes within the scope of work, to suspend and/or terminate the contract, to increase the contract amount up to an additional 10%, and to adjust the annual contract total for each option year over the term of the contract to allow for an annual Cost of Living adjustment in accordance with County policy.
