Employ a Retired County Employee on a Temporary Basis Recommendation: Grant an exception to the 180-day waiting period required under the California Public Employee’s Pension Reform Act of 2013, and reemploy retired County employee Ruena Borja to a 120-day temporary assignment as the Children Services Administrator III/Policy subject matter expert. Approve the request for Ruena Borja to receive compensation at the rate of $76 per hour and work no more than 960 work hours within a fiscal year.
