Bassett Park Playground, Fitness and Shade Improvements Capital Project Recommendation: Establish and approve the proposed Bassett Park Playground, Fitness and Shade Improvements Project, Capital Project No. 8A194 (Project), with a total Project budget of $1,254,000. Approve an appropriation adjustment to reflect an increase of $1,254,000 in appropriation to the proposed Project, fully offset by the Avocado Heights - Athens Tipping Fee available in the Department of Parks and Recreation’s operating budget, to fully fund the proposed Project. Authorize the Director to implement the proposed Project through a Board-approved Job Order Contract. Find that the proposed Project is exempt from the California Environmental Quality Act.
