55. Public Hearing Captioning, Transcription, and Related Services Contract Recommendation: Award a five-year contract to TPUSA, Inc. (TP RapidText) (Contractor) to provide Public Hearing Captioning, Transcription, and Related Services. Approve and instruct the Chair to sign a contract with the Contractor, effective the day after the Board’s approval, with two one-year renewal options, at a Maximum Contract Sum (MCS) of $60,000 annually. This contract is in Net County Cost funded through the Department of Regional Planning's Operating Budget for the respective year. Authorize the Director of Regional Planning to approve and execute amendments to incorporate necessary changes to the contract that do not significantly affect the scope of work or exceed the MCS of $60,000 annually; and to suspend work if, in the opinion of the Director, it is in the best interest of the County.
