6. AWARD CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT FOR THE MAIN STREET WELL NO. 3 AND NEWPORT WELL NO. 3 IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT Staff recommends the City Council award a construction contract to T.E. Roberts Inc. the lowest responsive/responsible bidder for the Main Street Well No. 3 and Newport Well No. 3 Improvements Project. Recommendation: It is recommended that the City Council award a construction contract in the amount of $1,350,700.00 for the Main Street Well No. 3 and Newport Well No. 3 Improvements Project to T.E. Roberts Inc. as the lowest responsive and responsible bidder, and authorize the Mayor and the City Clerk to execute the contract documents on behalf of the City.
