(7) 26-1202 ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT AND JOBS COMMITTEE REPORT relative to instructing the Community Investment Department (CID), with the assistance of the Chief Legislative Analyst (CLA), to report regarding establishing an "LA Vacant to Vibrant" Storefront Activation Program modeled after San Francisco's Vacant to Vibrant Program. Recommendation for Council action, pursuant to Motion (Lee - Soto- Martinez): INSTRUCT the CID, with assistance from the CLA to report to Council on the feasibility of establishing an "LA Vacant to Vibrant” Storefront Activation Program modeled after San Francisco's Vacant to Vibrant program, including program structure, funding opportunities, implementation strategies, and use of existing City business assistance resources. Fiscal Impact Statement: Neither the City Administrative Officer nor the CLA has completed a financial analysis of this report.
