10.H. Award of Professional Services Agreement to BOA Architecture for the preparation of concepts for a new Fire Station 63 facility, CIP No. 95049 It is recommended that the City Council consider: 1. Authorizing the City Manager to execute a professional services agreement with Black O’Dowd and Associates, Inc. dba BOA Architecture, in a form approved by the City Attorney, for the development and evaluation of conceptual alternatives for the new Fire Station 63 facility, limited to Phase 1 services, in an amount not to exceed $151,200; 2. Authorizing the Public Works Director to approve change orders within the scope of the agreement not to exceed $15,120 (10% of the original contract amount); and 3. Taking such additional, related, action that may be desirable. CEQA (California Environmental Quality Act): The proposed action is exempt from CEQA pursuant to CEQA Guidelines sections 15262 (Feasibility and Planning Studies) and 15061(b)(3) (Common Sense Exemption). The agreement provides for the development and evaluation of conceptual alternatives for Fire Station 63. This action does not select or approve a particular concept or authorize construction. Environmental factors will be considered as part of the study.
