10. CONTRACT AMENDMENT: PARKING CITATION PROCESSING SERVICES – F2M20-\n29, C2M20-36, M2M24-54\nOn August 10, 2020, City Council awarded a contract with Duncan Solutions dba\nProfessional Account Management LLC for parking citation processing services for the\nperiod November 1, 2020 through June 30, 2025 in an amount not to exceed $999,002.40.\nOn February 28, 2022, the City Council approved a first contract amendment for an\namount not to exceed $1,354,860.19 for the implementation of a virtual permitting system\nfor annual and overnight parking. During the implementation process, staff proposed\nconverting temporary permits to a virtual system, which was not initially budgeted for. The\nconversion requires additional expenses of $89,827.18 to cover the Application\nProgramming Interface (API) and convenience fees, which the City will cover during the\nduration of the contract.\nRecommended Action: City Council approve a Second Amendment, subject to final\nlanguage approval by the City Manager and City Attorney, to the parking citation\nprocessing services agreement with Ducan Solutions dba Professional Account\nManagement, LLC (C2M20-36) for an additional $89,827.18 in an amount not to exceed\n5\n4-8-24\n$1,444,687.37 through June 30, 2025; and, direct staff to undertake the steps necessary\nto finalize Council’s action.
