7. AUTHORIZE RFP: CITY HALL LOBBY ATTENDANT SERVICES – F2M20-43,\nRFP2M24-7\nThe Lobby Attendant is responsible for directing City Hall visitors to the appropriate City\nDepartments and/or personnel. The Lobby Attendant also conducts regular patrols of the\nCity Hall and Library facilities, including parking structure, staircases, elevators, and\nadjacent court yards. At the close of business, the Lobby Attendant secures and locks\nthe public entry and exit doors. The City currently contracts with A.G. Coast, Inc., DBA\nCalifornia Panther Security and the contract terminates on June 30, 2024. Staff is\nrecommending the City Council authorize a request for proposals to ensure ongoing\nsecurity support of City Hall facilities.\nRecommended Action: City Council authorize staff to solicit proposals for Lobby\nAttendant services for Alhambra City Hall; and, direct staff to undertake the steps\nnecessary to finalize Council’s action.
