5A. RESOLUTION APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS AND APPROVAL\nOF A CONTRACT WITH HARDY & HARPER, INC. FOR THE CABALLERO\nBOULEVARD PAVEMENT REHABILITATION PROJECT\n— Recommended Action: 1) Adopt a resolution approving the plans and\nspecifications for the Caballero Boulevard Pavement Rehabilitation Project;\n2) Award a contract to Hardy & Harper, Inc. in the amount of $659,000; 3)\nAuthorize contingency funds in the amount of $76,000; 4) Authorize\nconstruction engineering funds in the amount of $65,000; 5) Authorize a\npurchase order for The Solis Group in the amount of $5,380 for the\nCommunity Workforce Administration (CWA); 6) Authorize contingency\nfunds in the amount of $1,345 for the Community Workforce Administration\n(CWA); 7) Authorize the City Manager and City Attorney to make any\nnecessary, non-monetary changes to the contract; and, 8) Authorize the City\nManager and City Clerk to execute the contract.
