4. ACCEPT A DONATION TO FUND A TEMPORARY PUBLIC ART\nINSTALLATION OUTSIDE CITY HALL\nRecommendations: It is recommended by the Arts Commission that the City Council\n(1) Accept a donation of $24,000 from Laguna Beach residents Mark Porterfield\nand Steve Chadima to fund a temporary public art installation;\n(2) Authorize the Mayor to sign a letter of appreciation to the donors\n(3) Appropriate $24,000 for the temporary installation “Epicenter” by Casey\nParlette and increase donation revenue in the General Fund by the same amount;\n(4) Approve the temporary public art installation “Epicenter” outside City Hall;\nand\n(5) Find said action exempt from the California Environmental Quality Act.
