1. Public Hearing to Consider the Draft Community Development Block Grant\n(CDBG) Annual Action Plan for Fiscal Year 2024-2025\nRecommendation\nStaff recommends that the City Council:\n1. Open the public hearing and receive testimony;\n2. Consider the Draft Annual Action Plan Fiscal Year 2024-2025 and make\nany desired changes; and,\n3. Direct that the Annual Action Plan Fiscal Year 2024-2025, with any\nchanges, be placed on the May 7, 2024, City Council Agenda for final\napproval.\nCITY COUNCIL DISCUSSION ITEM\n1. Adoption of Resolution No. 2024-1470, Opposing ACA 1 Local Government\nFinancing Voter Approval; and, Adoption of Resolution No. 2024-1471,\nOpposing ACA 13 Voting Thresholds\nRecommendation\nMayor Jennings and Council Member Gennawey recommend that the City Council:\n1. Adopt Resolution No. 2024-1470, Opposing ACA 1 Local Government\nFinancing Voter Approval;\n2. Adopt Resolution No. 2024-1471, Opposing ACA 13 Voting Thresholds;\nand,\n3. Direct the Mayor to send a letter of opposition for ACA 1 and ACA 13 on\nbehalf of the City Council to the Cal Cities Board of Directors.
