L. CONTRACT AWARD - SIDEWALK REPAIRS AND IMPROVEMENTS AND\nFINDING THE PROJECT CATEGORICALLY EXEMPT FROM THE\nCALIFORNIA ENVIRONMENTAL QUALITY ACT\nStaff Recommendation\nAdopt Resolution No. 24-58, which will:\n1. Find the Sidewalk Repairs and Improvements, CIP Project No. 24304,\ncategorically exempt from the California Environmental Quality Act\n(CEQA) under Class 1 (Existing Facilities, 14 CCR section 15301) of the\nState CEQA Guidelines.\n2. Award the Sidewalk Repairs and Improvements contract to CJ Concrete\nConstruction, Inc.\n3. Approve, and authorize the City Manager to execute, Contract No. C24-\n21, by and between the City of San Clemente and CJ Concrete\nConstruction, Inc., providing for the Sidewalk Repairs and Improvements,\nin an amount not to exceed $165,620, in a form substantially similar to\nContract No. 24-21 (Attachment 4).\n4. Approve a 10% construction contingency of $16,560 for this project.
