18. Ordinance Amending the Driveway and Curb Cut Standards in El Segundo\nMunicipal Code Chapter 15-15\nRecommendation -\n1. Open the public hearing and solicit public testimony.\n2. Waive first reading and introduce an Ordinance amending the minimum\nrequired distance between driveway curb cuts on the same property in El\nSegundo Municipal Code Section 15-15-5(N) and find that the proposed\namendments are exempt under the California Environmental Quality Act\npursuant to CEQA Guidelines §15061(b)(3) because they do not approve\nany particular development project, they consist only of minor revisions to\nexisting zoning regulations and related procedures, and they do not have\nthe potential for causing a significant effect on the environment.\n3. Schedule the Ordinance's second reading for the May 7, 2024 regular\nCity Council meeting or as soon thereafter feasible.\n4. Alternatively, discuss and take other action related to this item.\n8
