17. Amendment to the El Segundo South Campus Specific Plan for Vesting\nTentative Tract Map No. 83236\nRecommendation -\n1. Open the public hearing and solicit public testimony.\n2. Waive first reading and introduce an Ordinance amending El Segundo\nSouth Campus Specific Plan for permitted uses, setback requirements,\nand parking requirements; and find that the proposed amendments are\nexempt under the California Environmental Quality Act pursuant to CEQA\nGuidelines § 15162 because the previously environmental impact report\nfor the Specific Plan, certified on December 15, 2015, contemplated\ndevelopment of the project site and none of the proposed minor\namendments would trigger conditions set forth in § 15162 necessitating\nthe preparation of a subsequent or supplemental environmental impact\nhave occurred.\n3. Schedule second reading of the Ordinance for the May 7, 2024 regular\nCity Council meeting or as soon thereafter feasible.\n4. Alternatively, discuss and take other action related to this item.
