4. APPROVE ACCEPTANCE OF WORK PERFORMED FOR CIP 2018-11 ACTIVE\nTRANSPORTATION PROGRAM CYCLE IV PROJECT NO. ATPL-5150(014)\nRECOMMENDED THAT CITY COUNCIL:\n1. Approve acceptance of work performed by Palp Inc. DBA Excel Paving for the\nconstruction of CIP 2018-11 Active Transportation Program Cycle 4 Project No.\nATPL-5150(014);\n2. Authorize staff to execute the Notice of Completion (NOC) and direct the City\nClerk to file the NOC with the Los Angeles County Recorder’s Office; and\n3. Release the retention amount of $211,799.04 to Palp Inc. DBA Excel Paving 35\ndays after the effective date of the recordation of the NOC, if no Stop Notices are\nfiled within the 35-day period.
