RESOLUTION NO. - Award of five (5)-year Non-Exclusive Concession Agreement to First\nClass Vending, Inc.: Covering vending machine services at Los Angeles International Airport\nand Van Nuys Airport, for estimated revenue of $432,000 over the term\nPURPOSE: Staff requests approval of the proposed concession agreement to provide convenient\nand cost-effective options for passengers to purchase bottled beverages and snacks at Los\nAngeles International Airport and Van Nuys Airport.\n2.\nRECOMMENDATIONS: Adoption of the Report requesting that the Board of Airport\nCommissioners determine that this action is exempt from the California Environmental Quality\nAct (CEQA) pursuant to Article III, Class 1 (18)(c) of the Los Angeles City CEQA Guidelines;\nfind that the work can be performed more economically or feasibly by an independent contractor\nthan by City employees; approve Award of Non-Exclusive Concession Agreement to First Class\nVending, Inc.; and authorize the Chief Executive Officer, or designee, to execute said Concession\nAgreement after approval as to form by the City Attorney and approval by the Los Angeles City\nCouncil.
