RESOLUTION NO. - Award of three (3)-year Contract to Doty Brothers Equipment\nCompany: Covering on-call general engineering services for utility repair and installation at\nLos Angeles International Airport and Van Nuys Airport, for cost not to exceed $2,250,000\nPURPOSE: The contract will allow Los Angeles World Airports to appropriately address\nemergency utility needs and ensure continued airport operations, comfort, and service to\npassengers, guests, and employees at Los Angeles International Airport and Van Nuys Airport.\n5.\nRECOMMENDATIONS: Adoption of the Report requesting that the Board of Airport\nCommissioners determine that this action is exempt from the California Environmental Quality\nAct (CEQA) pursuant to Article II, Section 2.f of the Los Angeles City CEQA Guidelines; find\nthat the work can be performed more economically or feasibly by an independent contractor than\nby City employees; approve Award of Contract to Doty Brothers Equipment Company; and\nauthorize the Chief Executive Officer, or designee, to execute said Contract after approval as to\nform by the City Attorney.
