RESOLUTION NO. - Award of individual three (3)-year Contracts to Axelliant LLC and\nZones LLC: Covering purchase of information technology general end-user equipment,\nhardware maintenance, warranties, supplies, and related services for Los Angeles World\nAirports, for cost of $1,548,678 per contract, for combined cost not to exceed $3,097,356\nPURPOSE: To award three (3)-year contracts for purchase of information technology (IT) end-\nuser equipment, hardware, maintenance, warranties, supplies, and related services to support\nairport operations, public safety, capital projects, and cyber security initiatives. Four (4) Requests\nfor Bids (RFBs) were issued for IT equipment: [1] end-user equipment used by employees for\nday-to-day business; [2] network equipment used for interconnecting all Los Angeles World\nAirports systems and applications; [3] enterprise equipment used to manage systems, store data,\n7.\ndisplay flight information in terminals, and secure IT assets from cyber threats; and [4]\ncommunications equipment, which includes fiber optic cable and uninterruptible power supplies\nthat provides emergency power when there is a power interruption. The proposed Board action\ncovers award of one of the four (4) RFB opportunities: end-user equipment.\nRECOMMENDATIONS: Adoption of the Report requesting that the Board of Airport\nCommissioners determine that this action is exempt from the California Environmental Quality\nAct (CEQA) pursuant to Article II, Section 2.f of the Los Angeles City CEQA Guidelines;\napprove Award of individual Contracts to Axelliant LLC and Zones LLC; and authorize the\nChief Executive Officer, or designee, to execute said Contracts after approval as to form by the\nCity Attorney.
