APPROVAL OF PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS AND AUTHORIZATION TO SOLICIT\nBIDS FOR THE SLURRY SEAL IMPROVEMENTS - ZONE 5 (CIP NO. 3929)\nThe plans and specifications for the Slurry Seal Improvements Project - Zone 5 have been\nprepared. Approval of this item will allow the City to advertise the project for bids.\nRecommendation:\nIt is staff's recommendation that the City Council:\n1. Approve the plans and specifications for the Slurry Seal Improvements Project - Zone 5;\n2. Authorize staff to solicit competitive bids and publish the Notice Inviting Sealed Bids (NIB);\nand\n3. Find that the project is categorically exempt from the California Environmental Quality Act\n(CEQA) pursuant to Guidelines Section 15301(c).
