RESOLUTION NO. - Appropriation of funds not to exceed $6,725,000: For construction of\nthe Theme Building Electrical Ductbank Project at Los Angeles International Airport\nPURPOSE: Staff requests approval and appropriation of funds of $6,725,000 for construction\nof the Theme Building Electrical Ductbank Project. Said project will provide a high voltage\nelectrical ductbank through a portion of the Central Terminal Area, adjacent to the Theme\nBuilding, that will deliver power associated with the future Receiving Station-X.\nRECOMMENDATIONS: Adoption of the Report requesting that the Board of Airport\n10.\nCommissioners determine that this action is exempt from the California Environmental Quality\nAct (CEQA) pursuant to Article II, Section 2.i of the Los Angeles City CEQA Guidelines;\napprove appropriation of capital funds not to exceed $6,725,000; further approve use of\nAdditional Gap Projects Allowance of not to exceed $6,000,000 from the Roadways, Utilities\nand Enabling Projects contract with Skanska USA Civil West California District, Inc. for\nconstruction of the Theme Building Electrical Ductbank; and authorize the Chief Executive\nOfficer, or designee, to execute a task order for said work in the amount of $6,000,000 after\napproval as to form by the City Attorney and approval by the Los Angeles City Council.
