CONTRACT AMENDMENT REGISTER DATED APRIL 23, 2024\nSummary:\nThe Contract Amendment Register is a listing of proposed contract amendments\nand project change orders eligible for streamlined processing based upon the\nfollowing criteria as documented in the City’s Purchasing Policy:\n· Funds have been authorized as part of the adopted fiscal year Operating\nBudget.\n· Staff are satisfied with the goods/services received to date; and\n· City Manager has reviewed and approved each amendment for\nstreamlined processing.\nThere are two contract amendments being presented for City Council\nconsideration as follows:\n1.) Zimprich Engineering Incorporated - General Services Agreement for the\nemergency repair work at the Panorama Promenade Trail and Molino\nAvenue. The proposed First Amendment would extend the term through\nSeptember 25, 2024; there is no proposed change to the compensation.\n2.) Firefly Drones, LLC - City Council approved an award of contract to\nFirefly Drones, LLC., on February 27, 2024, to provide aerial drone show\nservices to commemorate the City’s centennial anniversary taking place\non Saturday, April 27, 2024. The approved contract award is for an\namount not-to-exceed $60,000. The vendor requires additional insurance\nand permit requirements to ensure a safe aerial drone show and comply\nwith approval conditions by local, state, and federal authorities. These\nadditional conditions exceed the current contract amount. Staff proposes\nthe City Council’s approval to increase the contract by $20,000, for a new\ntotal not-to-exceed of $80,000.\nStrategic Plan Goal(s):\nGoal No. 1 Financial Stability: Ensure the City’s long-term financial stability\nand resilience.\nGoal No. 2 Community Safety: Maintain community safety by supporting\npublic safety services and increasing emergency preparedness.\nRecommendation:\nAuthorize the Contract Amendment Register dated April 23, 2024.
