First Reading and Introduction of an Ordinance amending the Glendora Municipal Code to bring it\ninto compliance with State law and streamline construction of ADU and SB 9 units consistent\nGeneral Plan Housing Element (File # PLN23-0035)\nCITY RECOMMENDATION: 1. Find and determine that the Ordinance is exempt from the\nCalifornia Environmental Quality Act (CEQA); 2. Introduce for first reading an Ordinance entitled,\n“An ordinance of the City Council amending certain sections of Title 21 (Zoning) of the Glendora\nMunicipal Code to bring it into compliance with State law and streamline the construction of\nAccessory Dwelling Units and SB 9 units consistent with the City’s 6th RHNA Cycle (2021-2029)\nGeneral Plan Housing Element (File # PLN23-0035);” and 3. Direct the preparation of a summary\nof the ordinance for publication pursuant to Govt Code 36933 and Resolution CC 2018-40.
