BID & PURCHASE - PROFESSIONAL SERVICES AGREEMENT WITH METERSYS, LLC,\nIN THE AMOUNT OF $180,974 THROUGH JUNE 30, 2028, FOR AN ELECTRIC\nADVANCED METERING FEASIBILITY STUDY, FULL PROCUREMENT SUPPORT, AND\nPROGRAM MANAGEMENT FOR THE ELECTRIC METER REPLACEMENT PROGRAM\nThat the City Council:\na. Approve the Professional Services Agreement with MeterSYS, LLC for the Electric\nAdvanced Metering Feasibility Study, Full Procurement Support, and Program\nManagement for the Electric Meter Replacement Program Project 71870578.\nb. Authorize the City Manager, or his designee, to execute the Professional Services\nAgreement with MeterSYS, LLC, in the amount of $180,974, including any\nnon-substantive extensions, change orders, purchase orders, and amendments\nup to the amount authorized by Corona Municipal Code Section 3.08.070 (I),\nwhich is equivalent to 10% or $18,097.\nc. Decide under Corona Municipal Code Section 3.08.140 (E) that competitive\nbidding has been satisfied for the reasons provided in the “Basis of\nDetermination that Purpose of Bidding is Otherwise Accomplished” section of\nthis report.\nd. Authorize an appropriation in the amount of $180,974 from the Greenfield\nElectric Utility Fund 578 to the Citywide Meter Replacement Operating and\nMaintenance Project No. 71870.
