27.\nAdopt a Resolution and Approve an Appropriation Adjustment Accepting the\nGrant Funds from Kaiser Permanente’s Operation Splash\nDepartment(s): Parks, Recreation, and Community Services\nRecommended Action: 1. Adopt a resolution accepting grant funds from\nKaiser Permanente’s Community Benefit Foundation to conduct the Operation\nSplash Campaign in the amount of $75,000 distributed over two years in the\namount of $37,500 each year to subsidize youth, adult and senior aquatics\nprogramming.\nRESOLUTION NO. 2024-XXX entitled A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY\nCOUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA ACCEPTING A GRANT FROM\nKAISER PERMANENTE’S OPERATION SPLASH PROGRAM TO PROVIDE\nDISCOUNTED SWIM LESSONS FOR LOW-INCOME YOUTH AND ADULTS\nAND FREE JUNIOR LIFEGUARD TRAINING AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY\nMANAGER OR DESIGNEE TO NEGOTIATE AND EXECUTE ANY\nAGREEMENTS OR AMENDMENTS THERETO THAT MAY BE NECESSARY.\n2. Approve an appropriation adjustment to recognize revenue in the PRCSA\nFees & Donations-Grants Other account (no. 02213002-52040-$37,500 in\nPRCSA Fees & Donations-Miscellaneous Operating Expenses expenditure\naccount (no. 02213200-63001) and Reserve Appropriations account (no.\n02213200-69011).
