4.2. Introduction of Ordinance 24-11 to amend Title 15 (Buildings and Construction) of\nthe San Jacinto Municipal Code to add Chapter 15.60 (Electrical Vehicle Charging\nStations) entitled: AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF\nSAN JACINTO, ADDING CHAPTER 15.60 TO TITLE 15 OF THE MUNICIPAL\nCODE RELATING TO AN EXPEDITED, STREAMLINED PERMITTING\nPROCESS FOR ELECTRIC VEHICLE CHARGING STATIONS\nRECOMMENDATION:\nStaff recommends that the City Council:\n1. Determine that the proposed Ordinance is EXEMPT from CEQA pursuant to\npursuant to Sections 15060(c)(2) and 15060(c)(3) of Title 14 of the California\nCode of Regulations. Specifically, this Ordinance only establishes a streamlined\nprocess for electric vehicle charging station permits and merely authorizes\nadministrative activities that will not result in a direct or reasonably foreseeable\nindirect physical change in the environment.
