9. Yucca Valley Aquatic and Recreation Center Project – Town Project 6009, Award\nof Construction Contract. Resolution No. 24-XXX Approving Addendum No.3 to\nthe previously adopted Initial Study/Mitigated Negative Declaration and\nResolution No. 24-XX SRF Budget Amendment\nRecommendation:\nThat the Town Council:\n- Adopts Resolution No. 2024-XXX approving Addendum No. 3 to the\npreviously adopted Initial Study/Mitigated Negative Declaration and\nMitigation Monitoring and Reporting Program for the Brehm Youth\nSport Park Project.\n- Adopts Resolution No. 2024-XX approving a budget amendment to the\nFY 2023-24 Special Revenue Fund Budget appropriating an additional\n$13,554,598.00 of Town funds, as identified in Exhibit A.\n- Approves the award of a construction contract with Robert Clapper\nConstruction Services, Inc., in the amount of Base Bid of\n$38,597,000.00 to construct the Yucca Valley Aquatic and Recreation\nCenter Project.\n- Authorizes construction and construction contingencies in the total\namount of $41,000,000.00; to include $1,447,000.00 contingency and\n$956,000.00 for Alternative Bid No. 2.\n- Authorizes the Mayor, Town Manager, and Town Attorney to execute\nthe agreement, and authorizes the Town Manager or designee to\nexpend contingency funds, if necessary, for project completion.\nA RESOLUTION OF THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF YUCCA\nVALLEY CALIFORNIA, APPROVING ADDENDUM NO. 3 TO THE\nPREVIOUSLY ADOPTED INITIAL STUDY/MITIGATED NEGATIVE\nDECLARATION AND MITIGATION MONITORING AND REPORTING\nPROGRAM FOR THE BREHM YOUTH SPORTS PARK PROJECT AND\nAWARDING A CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT FOR THE AQUATICS AND\nRECREATION CENTER PROJECT\nA RESOLUTION OF THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF YUCCA\nVALLEY, CALIFORNIA, AMENDING THE FISCAL YEAR 2023-24 BUDGET.
