APPROVAL OF NOVATION AGREEMENT TRANSFERRING EXISTING\nCONTRACT RESPONSIBILITIES OF COLUMBIA\nTELECOMMUNICATIONS CORPORATION TO IMPERIAL COUNTY\nOFFICE OF EDUCATION FOR THE PROVISION, INSTALLATION, AND\nMAINTENANCE OF ADVANCED NETWORK SERVICES AT THE CROWELL\nPUBLIC LIBRARY\nRecommendation: Staff recommends the Council approve the novation agreement\nwith Imperial County Office of Education transferring existing contract responsibilities\nfrom Columbia Telecommunications Corporation for the provision, installation, and\nmaintenance of advanced network services at the Crowell Public Library. If the City\nCouncil concurs with staff’s recommendation, an appropriate motion would be:\n“I move to approve the novation agreement with Imperial County Office of Education\ntransferring existing contract responsibilities from Columbia Telecommunications\nCorporation for the provision, installation, and maintenance of advanced network\nservices, and authorize the City Manager to execute the agreement on behalf of the\nCity.”
