AWARD CONTRACT: 2024 USDA SUMMER FOOD SERVICE PROGRAM – F2M24-25,\nN2M24-27, C2M24-30, M2M24-69\nOn February 26, 2024, the City Council approved the distribution of a Notice Inviting Bids\nfor the 2024 Summer Food Service Program. Staff included the following food vendors in\nthe bidding process: Food Service Outreach, Inc., San Gabriel Unified School District, JA\nFood Service, School Nutrition Plus, Inc., and Unity Meals. On April 18, 2024, the City\nClerk received two bids in the amount of $88,560.00 and $91,420.80. The bid received by\nSchool Nutrition Plus, Inc. is the lowest responsive bid.\nRecommended Action: City Council award a contract, subject to final language\napproval by the City Manager and the City Attorney, by and between the City of Alhambra\nand School Nutrition Plus, Inc., for the 2024 Summer Food Service Program in the amount\nof $88,560.00; and, direct staff to take the steps necessary to finalize Council’s action.\n(M2M24-69)\n6\n5-13-24
