6I. APPROVAL OF FIRST AMENDMENT TO PROFESSIONAL SERVICES\nAGREEMENT WITH MSW CONSULTANTS TO PROVIDE SOLID WASTE\nMANAGEMENT CONSULTING SERVICES\nAt its meeting of October 26, 2021, the City Council awarded a contract to MSW\nConsultants to provide solid waste management consulting services. The three-year\ncontract, expiring on June 30, 2024, provides for two optional one-year extensions. The\nproposed First Amendment presented for the Council’s consideration extends the term\nof the Agreement to June 30, 2025, expands the scope of services, and increases the\ntotal not-to-exceed compensation by $89,800.\nRECOMMENDED ACTION:\n1. City Council find that the recommended actions are exempt from CEQA per\nSection15378(b)(5) [Project does not include]: organizational or administrative\nactivities of governments that will not result in direct or indirect physical changes in\nthe environment; and\n2. Approve the First Amendment to the Professional Services Agreement with MSW\nConsultants and allow the City Attorney to make minor edits as necessary prior to\nthe execution of the Amendment; and\n3. Authorize the City Manager to execute the First Amendment to the Professional\nServices Agreement with MSW Consultants.\nEND OF CONSENT CALENDAR
