10. PARCEL MAP AND REJECTION OF IRREVOCABLE OFFER OF\nDEDICATION FOR PARCEL MAP NO. 82979 (DENTEC) - Pursuant to Section\n66464.1 of the Subdivision Map Act, this item would approve Parcel Map for Parcel Map\nNo. 82979 (Dentec). The map is located at the western terminus of Franwood Drive, the\nnorthern terminus Urbandale Avenue, and south of Copper Hill Drive.\nRECOMMENDED ACTION:\nCity Council:\n1. Approve Parcel Map for Parcel Map No. 82979.\n2. Accept on behalf of the public the right to prohibit the erection or construction of any\nbuildings or structures within parcels 1 through 3 until subsequent final maps are\nrecorded on the parcels.\n3. Reject the offer of dedication and grant for public use of private and future street\neasements.\n4. Make findings as follows: This project is consistent with the provisions of Sections\n66474 and 66474.1 of the Subdivision Map Act and should be approved.\n5. Instruct the Director of Administrative Services to endorse the Special Assessment\nStatement on the face of the Parcel Map for Parcel Map No. 82979, which indicates\nall special assessments levied by the City of Santa Clarita are paid.\n6. Instruct the City Clerk to endorse the City Clerk’s Statement on the face of the Parcel\nMap for Parcel Map No. 82979, which embodies the approval of said map and the\nacceptance and rejection of the dedications shown thereon.\n7. Instruct the City Engineer to endorse the City Engineer’s Statement on the face of the\nParcel Map for Parcel Map No. 82979, which provides for verification of substantial\nconformance with the Tentative Tract Map and all provisions of local ordinances and\nstate laws applicable at the time of approval.\n8. Instruct the City Surveyor to endorse the City Surveyor’s Statement on the face of the\nParcel Map for Parcel Map No. 82979, which provides for verification that the map is\ntechnically correct.\n9. Find Parcel Map No. 82979 exempt from review under the California Quality Act\n(CEQA) pursuant to CEQA Guideline 15061(b)(3) because the division does not\ninclude any proposed development or construction.\nThis time has been set aside for any speakers that have turned in speaker cards and were not\nheard in the first thirty minutes allotted to address the City Council on items that are NOT on the\nagenda.
