2. 2024-28 CONSOLIDATED PLAN AND THE 2024-25 ANNUAL ACTION PLAN\nFOR THE COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT PROGRAM AND\nHOME INVESTMENT PARTNERSHIP PROGRAM - The City of Santa Clarita\nreceives an annual allocation of Community Development Block Grant funds and HOME\nInvestment Partnership Program funds from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban\nDevelopment. These funds are designed to primarily serve the needs of the City's low-\nand moderate-income residents. In order to receive these funds, the City is required to\nsubmit a five-year Consolidated Plan and a one-year Annual Action Plan.\nRECOMMENDED ACTION:\nCity Council approve the submission of the five-year Consolidated Plan with its\nassociated priorities and the Annual Action Plan for year-one with the recommended\nfunding therein to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development.
