5.K. Award Contract to Reign Industries, Inc. as Primary and Leed Electric, Inc. as\nSecondary to Provide Electrical Contractor Services at Water & Wastewater\nTreatment Facilities\nRecommended Action\nStaff recommends that City Council:\n1. Adopt a finding of Categorical Exemption pursuant to Section 15301 (Existing\nFacilities) of the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) Guidelines;\n2. Award Bid #4476 to Reign Industries Inc. as the primary vendor to provide\nelectrical contractor services at water and wastewater treatment facilities; and\nto Leed Electric, Inc. as the secondary vendor to provide electrical contractor\nservices at water and wastewater treatment facilities for the Public Works\nDepartment;\n3. Authorize the City Manager to negotiate and execute an agreement with\nReign Industries, Inc. in an amount not to exceed $300,000 for one year, with\nfour additional one-year renewal options in the amount of $1,200,000 on the\nsame terms and conditions for a total amount not to exceed $1,500,000 over\na five-year period with future funding contingent on Council budget approval;\nand\n4. Authorize the City Manager to negotiate and execute an agreement with Leed\nElectric, Inc. in an amount not to exceed $160,000 for one year, with four\nadditional one-year renewal options in the amount of $640,000 for a total\namount not to exceed $800,000 over a five-year period with future funding\ncontingent on Council budget approval.
