19. BUDGETARY - AUTHORIZE THE PURCHASE OF ONE NEW DODGE DURANGO FOR\nTHE POST RELEASE ACCOUNTABILITY & COMPLIANCE TEAM (PACT) OF THE\nCORONA POLICE DEPARTMENT\nThat the City Council:\na. Authorize an Exception to Competitive Bidding pursuant to Corona Municipal\nCode Section 3.08.140(E) that competitive bidding has been satisfied based\nupon the reasons provided in “Basis for Determination of Competitive Bidding”\nwith Young Automotive Group., for the purchase of one (1) new vehicle for the\nPolice Department in the amount of $53,141.\nAgenda\nb. Authorize the City Manager, or his designee, to issue a purchase order to Young\nAutomotive Group in the amount of $53,141.\nc. Authorize an appropriation in the amount of $38,272 to the Police Department’s\noperating budget in the General Fund 110 in Fiscal Year 2025 for the recurring\nmotor pool costs associated with the vehicle purchase.
