f) REPORT APPROVAL OF SPECIAL EVENT LONG-TERM AGREEMENTS\n24-0233 (Community Resources Manager Lisa Nichols)\nRecommendation: Staff recommends City Council:\n1. Approve three three-year long-term agreements with each of the following organizations\nfor the following events in 2024 through 2026:\n* Amateur Athletic Union (AAU) for the AAU Beach Volleyball Championships;\n* Association of Volleyball Professionals (AVP) for the AVP Junior National\nChampionships and the Hermosa Beach Open; and\n* Junior Volleyball Association (JVA)/Beach Volleyball Clubs of America (BVCA) for the\nJVA/BVCA National Championships.\n2. Authorize the Mayor and City Manager to execute and the City Clerk to attest to each\nlong-term agreement, subject to approval by the City Attorney (Attachments 1-3).
