8M. Authorize approval of agreements for consultant services for Annual Pavement\nRehabilitation Projects. Environmental Considerations: The actions being\nconsidered by the City Council are exempt from the California Environmental\nQuality Act (CEQA) because they are not a "project" under Section 15378(b)\n(5) of CEQA Guidelines. The actions involve organizational or administrative\nactivities of government that will not result in the direct or indirect physical\nchange in the environment. Contact Person: Senior Engineer Cabrera\nRecommended Action: 1) Authorize the City Manager, or designee, to\nexecute a contract in substantial form, and any necessary amendments and\ntime extensions in consultation with the City Attorney, with CJ Roberts, Inc. in\nthe amount of $548,450 plus 15 percent contingency ($82,268) for a total not-\nto-exceed contract amount of $630,718 including any future contract\namendments for design services for the Annual Pavement Rehabilitation\nProjects (CS25A, CS26A, CS27A); and 2) Authorize the City Manager, or\ndesignee, to execute a contract in substantial form, and any necessary\namendments and time extensions in consultation with the City Attorney, with\nReddy Engineering Services, Inc. in the amount of $2,048,708 plus 15 percent\ncontingency ($307,306) for a total not-to-exceed contract amount of\n$2,356,014 including any future contract amendments for construction\nmanagement and inspection services for the Annual Pavement Rehabilitation\nProjects (CS24A, CS25A, CS26A, CS27A).\n2024-05-15 Item 08M Agreements for Consultants for Pavement Rehabilitation\nProjects
