11.b AWARD PUBLIC WORKS CONTRACTS TO A. PREMAN ROOFING, INC., THE\nGARLAND COMPANY, INC., LOGHMANI & ASSOCIATES DESIGN GROUP, INC. FOR\nVARIOUS SPORTS PARK BUILDING IMPROVEMENTS PROJECTS; AND AUTHORIZE\nTHE APPROPRIATION OF AN ADDITIONAL $1,500,000 TO THE PROJECT\nRecommendation:\nAdopt Resolution No. 2024-034 to: (1) award a Public Works contract to A. Preman\nRoofing, Inc. for an amount not-to-exceed $130,000 for the replacement of the roof of the\nSports Park Building; and (2) award a sole source purchase contract for an amount not-to-\nexceed $255,000 to The Garland Company, Inc. for the provision of the roofing materials\nand product warranty.\nAdopt Resolution No. 2024-035 to (1) award a Public Works contract to Loghmani &\nAssociates Design Group, Inc. for an amount not-to-exceed $2,550,000 for the Sports Park\nBuilding Improvements Project; and (2) to authorize the appropriation of an additional\n$1,500,000 to the Project’s budget.
